
Paolo Domeniconi is an illustrator who has been active since the early 1990s, initially working in the advertising sector. He later moved into the world of children’s publishing, collaborating with prestigious Italian and international publishers such as Mondadori, The Creative Company, Grimm Press, Benchmark Education.
His illustrations have been published in numerous countries, including Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, China, Taiwan, and Japan. To date, he has illustrated around 60 picture books, as well as educational editions and numerous covers for young adult fiction.
Among the awards he has received are the "Emanuele Luzzati" Illustration Prize (16th edition, 2017), selection for the 2015 IBBY Collection of Outstanding Books for Young People with Disabilities, and the 2023 Prix P'tits Mômes from the Municipal Library of the City of Geneva.
